Capsul Turns 1

It’s been one full revolution around the sun since the Capsul Bangalore store at Hatworks Boulevard opened its doors. 

Nestled in the heart of Bangalore’s Business district, Hatworks Boulevard is a 150+ year old property surrounded by lush greenery and houses a number of retail spaces under its original Mangalore tile roof. 

The space that was once known for making headgears that adorned the British and Indian armed forces is now home for international streetwear OGs like Carhartt, The Hundreds, Thrasher, Pleasures and more. 

In the 1 year since the Capsul store opened it’s door, we have hosted India’s streetwear, music and art community through the numerous events held here. The first Capsul store event, Capsul Feature, was a 3 day streetwear festival that showcased a number of up and coming homegrown streetwear brands like Space Biskit, Almost Gods, Balloon Fight Customs and Stylo Label. Capsul has also hosted events featuring food pop ups by some of the city’s favourites like Naru Ramen, Daily Sushi and the Circus Canteen. 

The collection of clothing and accessories in store continues to grow with the inclusion of new brands like iconic skate brand Diamond Supply Co and Billionaire Boys Club being added to the roster. The collection of existing brands continue to evolve, offering up even more fresher and elevated statement pieces like the Pleasures trench coats and cardigans, sherpa vests by Thrasher, Mesh tops and resorts shirts from Jungles and dedicated women’s clothing line by HUF. 

The Capsul store is open Monday through Saturday, 11 am to 8pm and you all are invited. Good things are in Store!
